Sport has been a focus and major interest in my life and from a very young age I played every sport I could. I later concentrated on Rugby and Cricket, playing junior county level cricket and representing the first team at both sports at St Mary’s University College Twickenham where I achieved a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science.
After graduating, I worked for the US Sport Institute based in New Jersey as a Sport Coach. On returning to England I worked as a tutor teaching Level 2 Diploma in Sport and Leisure. This is when I made the decision to become a Personal Trainer. My aim is to make your training as challenging and interesting as possible, I do this by keeping up to date with the latest research and courses such as the FASTER Advanced Functional Trainer and Specialist in Functional Performance. My current additional interests are cycling, ski-ing and golf.
I have worked with a variety of people from professional golfers to dancers, teenagers to clients in their eighties. Some have wanted to lose weight but many just want to be fitter and healthier.
I have a keen interest in functional strength and will help you to increase not only your fitness levels but also your ‘real world’ strength. My workouts will help you to get in shape using your own body weight and just a few props. I would like to show you how to lose weight, increase muscle mass and increase strength. These interesting exercises will become your daily routine and create healthy habits. Losing body fat and toning muscle comes about through training with intensity, while utilising a variety of methods and tools. Consistent exercising has many benefits, not only physical wellbeing, but will also provide you with more confidence and energy for daily activity.
Regardless of your age or current fitness level I can provide an initial assessment followed by a tailored programme designed specifically for you to reach your goals safely, effectively and under the guidance of a trained personal fitness expert.

Many people are not fans of the gym and prefer to exercise in natural surroundings. I can bring the gym to the outdoors by bringing equipment such as resistance bands and weights to your session. Lots of clients find this is a very beneficial way to keep fit and it increases your feeling of wellbeing.
